Coconut dome cookies are chewy
Coconut dome cookies are chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. These cookies are easy to make with simple ingredients and no eggs or baking soda/powder! They are nostalgic, and I have been trying different proportions of ingredients to improve the overall texture and taste than the good old bakery coconut biscuits which were made using small chunks of coconut! Also in the process, the ice cream scoop or the small ladle was helpful to shape the cookies instead of a random distorted shape.
Keep a tab on the temperature and the final mild golden brown finish on top & around the edges of the cookies, these provide the right level of crispiness and chewiness for every bite. I hope you will give it a try and let me know your experience in the comments.
Ingredients:
⅔ cup Condensed Milk
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
⅛ tsp Salt
⅓ cup Maida (All purpose flour)
2 cups (200g) Desiccated Coconut
Good to make about a dozen cookies!
