For a few years now
For a few years now I have wanted to release this live video of the band REVEREND. Finally, with the Holidays upon us I felt compelled to get it done for several reasons. Unlike in years past, this Christmas season I heard of many hardships several people are facing,....from family, to finances to just simple contentment with the day to day. I've concluded it is a symptom of mid-life and the hard assessment we bestow upon ourselves and I must admit I am burdened by it at times as well. However, despite it all I can't help but to hold on to hope and find peace in knowing that I am ALIVE & experiencing what this life offers. It helps to relish in it & remember old friends who are no longer with us. Two of those people were on my mind this year & I'm lucky to have had the privilege of knowing them quite well. They were two metal legends in their own right,....Mr. DAVID WAYNE (formerly of Metal Church) & Mr. DAVEY LEE (of Byfist) who were far from passing when this video was shot. So, I release this video to the fans, so that we may not only remember what David & Davey brought into our lives, but more so, that we may each remember the precious gifts we still own. You will find this footage quite intriguing, as it includes 4 killer tracks shot at the legendary, White Rabbit on April 26th, 2002. They include:

As I finally release this video, I also want to take the opportunity to thank NACHO VARA (Byfist) & PETE PEREZ (Karion/Riot) for putting on a great performance that evening & for continuing to follow their respective passions in music. May we all embrace 2014 with reverence! Enjoy! ~ El Mero Metal
