DAVID WAYNE (Metal Church/Reverend) on Robbs MetalWorks 2002

This is the interview that many fans have been clamoring about for quite a while.  Thanks to each of you for your mails and posts about our distinct interview with late, great Mr. DAVID WAYNE, vocalist for REVEREND & the original (& best) voice METAL CHURCH ever had.  I really had to dust this one off from deep within our archive, but I'm glad to see it out finally on the web.  I remember this day fondly because my Crew & I were quite honored to have David at our headquarters just hanging out enjoying some cold ones & talking metal & metal memories.  During the interview you will hear David discuss his falling out with Kurt Vanderhoof & the Metal Church gang, his new endeavors in Reverend & how he hooked up with San Antonio guitarists, Davey Lee & Nacho Vara.  Personally, I was deeply saddened when I heard of his passing 3 short years later, because I know he suffered internally from various demons both physcially & psychologically.  May he rest in peace!  He definitely delivered many great tunes to us all, so I hope when you see this interview that you will remember David for all the great things he accomplished in metal!  ~ El Mero Metal
