Pai village
Pai is a small town in Thailand, near the border with Myanmar.
From Chiang Mai, to reach Pai village, Khoai takes more than 4 hours to ride a motorbike and 762 vertical bends over 130 km.
Along the way, you would see a lot of stalls selling grilled coconut. "Xiem" coconut is peeled and baked on fire. Grilled coconut makes the coconut oil in coconut rice secreted and mixed into the water, making the coconut water no longer cool but something smelly, I personally do not like this dish very much. Price 30 baht / coconut(about 22,000 VND).
Going Pai, people should not stand near the town (if you like crowded, you can), but should go to the suburbs, to enjoy the fresh air and quiet here, in the winter it will be slightly cold at night but summer is also quite hot,
In the morning, Khoai visits a fruit garden along the road to have something in the stomach. There are bananas, papaya, peanuts, perfumery vinegar, boiled potatoes, most of them are home-grown agricultural goods. The owner of the garden does not attach the price, we will pay for him depending on the level of our satisfaction. In addition, the garden also has natural fissures, quite strange and interesting.

Continuing the journey of discovery will be a bamboo bridge in the middle of the rice field. In here, Thai farmers planted alternating fields and built a bamboo bridge running through the fields. This field is specialized for tourism, rice is a long-term type, not for seeds. Ticket price is 30 baht / person (about 22,000 VND). Although it's quite artificial, it is also an interesting way of making Thai tourists.

In lunchtime, Khoai visits a small restaurant along the way to enjoy Thai dishes. At Pai, the price will be slightly higher than Chiang Mai's, but it is still very cheap compared to Vietnamese income. The shopkeeper is very cute, she invited me to eat cake and went to the kitchen to see her cooking dishes. Khoai orders a tom yum (90 baht ~ 65,000 VND), fried mushroom with chicken (60 baht ~ 42,000 VND) and 1 cup of milk tea.

BTW, don't forget that in Pai, there is a famous sunset spot: Pai Canyon 8F43 + F2 Thung Yao, Pai, Mae Hong Son, Thailand.
And remember to arrive earlier than usual, because the sun will go down the mountain 30 minutes earlier than usual. But in return, Khoai still sees Pai's natural scenery in the late afternoon and a very special gift from a street singer!
