Mirchi pakora is a unique snack that needs no accompaniment but just a hot cup of tea. Stuffed with spicy potato mixture, coated with besan batter and then deep fried, this spicy mirchi pakoda is a must try for all spice lovers.

Ingredients:
Green Chilli - 7 /8
Boiled potatoes - 3
Whole jeera - 1 tsp
Aamchoor pwd - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Rock salt - 1 tsp
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Dhania pwd - 1tsp
Chopped coriander - 1 tsp
Hing pwd -  1/4 tsp
Besan - 1/2 cup
Oil for frying

How to prepare
• To make mirchi pakora, first I have taken some boiled potatoes. I will mash them till smooth.
• To this I will now add 1 tsp of whole jeera, 1 tsp of aamchur powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of dhania powder, 1 tsp of rock salt, 1 tsp corn flour and 1 tsp of chopped dhania.
• I will now mix all the ingredients properly and keep the stuffing aside.
• I have taken here about 7 /8 chillies and washed and dried them.
•  Now I will make a long slit in the center and remove the seeds carefully and discard them.
• Take some potato stuffing mixture and stuff each chilli.
• Press the stuffing with your fingers so that it doesn’t come out while frying. Keep aside
• Now I will prepare the besan batter.
• For this I have taken 1/2 cup of besan, to this I will add ½ tsp salt, 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, a pinch of baking soda, 1/4th tsp of hing and mix well.
• Add water little at a time to prepare a batter with thick consistency.
• Check that the batter doesn’t have any lumps in it. Keep it for 10 mins.
• Now heat oil in a kadhai till its hot.
• Dip one stuffed mirchi into the besan batter and fry from all sides till the pakora is golden brown.
• Fry all the pakoras in the similar manner.
• Serve the mirchi pakora immediately with tomato sauce or chutney of your choice.
