Today we will try making a super delicious chinese recipe Veg Manchurian. #vegmanchurianrecipe #dryvegmanchurian What you will need 1. Cabbage: 1/2 2. Carrot: 1 3. Capsicum: 1 4. Spring onions: 1 ½ cup 5. Onions: 2 6. Garlic: 7-8 cloves 7. Ginger paste: 2tsp 8. Soya sauce: 1 tsp 9. Chilli sauce: 1 tbsp 10. Tomato sauce : ¼ cup 11. Corn flour: 4 tsp 12. Maida: 2 tsp 13. Black pepper powder: ¼ tsp 14. Salt: as per taste 15. Sugar: 1 tsp 16. Dry whole red chilli: 1 17. Oil for frying How to prepare: • I have taken here half cabbage which I will finely grate. • Add 1 tsp of salt to this and mix very well. Leave it for about 30 mins. • After 30 mins we will squeeze the grated cabbage and drain the juice out of it. • If we skip this step, you will have to use a lot of corn flour and maida for binding. And if you add more corn flour, your vegetable balls will become rubbery. • Add 1 cup of grated carrot, ½ cup of copped capsicum, ½ cup of spring onions, ½ cup of chopped beans and 1 chopped onion. • Add 1 tsp of ginger paste to the vegetables, and mix well. • Now add ¼ tsp of black pepper powder, add 2 tsp maida or all purpose flour and 2 tsp of corn flour. Mix all the ingredients well for binding. • If needed you can use a little more corn flour. • I am not adding any salt here, because salt was already added to the cabbage earlier, but if you find it bland then add a little salt. • Now make small balls out of the mixture and keep aside. • Heat oil in a Karai and fry the balls till golden brown from all sides. • Fry all the baalls similarly in batches and keep aside. • Now lets prepare the sauce. For this I have taken 2 tsp of corn flour, 1tsp of soya sauce, 1 tbsp of chilli sauce, ¼ cup of tomato sauce. Add little water and prepare the mixture. • Heat 2 tsp of oil in a kadhai, add one whole red chilli, 7-8 chopped garlic, fry for a minute and then add 1 chopped onion and fry for a minute. • Now add the capsicum and 1 tsp of ginger paste. fry till the raw smell disappears. Add 1 tsp of salt • To this now add the sauce that we have prepared and cook for 2 -3 minutes. • Add 1 tsp sugar • Then add the veg balls and mix well. • Once it is done add ½ cup of chopped spring onions and your veg manchurian is ready to serve.
