Details and history
Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing Transformed was not the first racing game of the blue hedgehog. In the distant year of 1997, almost 20 years ago, the Sega Saturn and the PCs received the third game of race of Sonic, the average Sonic R. This game was successful in its time, although some problems that got critics after its launch .
There were five different tracks in all, where the players participated in different types of running controlling characters of the series. The stages had multiple paths, allowing the player to use various shortcuts and collect items scattered around the diversions. In the first four phases there were the famous Chaos Emeralds, which should be collected to progress in the game.
The plot was quite simple: Dr. Robotnik had discovered the location of these precious items and created a worldwide racing tournament to lure Sonic into a trap and defeat him while collecting each of the emeralds to rule the world. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose, and six unlockables: Dr. Robotnik, Metal Sonic, Eggrobo, Super Sonic and two strange new characters: Metal Knuckles and Tails Doll.
Metal Knuckles, like the iconic Metal Sonic, is the robotic version of Equidna created to defeat you. It has the same characteristics of Metal Sonic in terms of strength and speed. However, the Tails Doll was completely different. He was simply a very odd-looking stuffed toy, with a red crystal attached to his head by a sort of antenna. The description of the character in Sonic R is quite unusual too: while Metal Knuckles was created to rival the true Knuckles, the Tails Doll was created to confuse Sonic, making him lose the races, something that obviously did not happen.
Playing with Tails Doll was not very good, the character was slow compared to the others and had bad controls, especially when taking turns. However, he had an advantage: he did not run, but he floated, which allowed him to glide over the water and climb off the track without losing speed. And when playing with him, regardless of the chosen track, the song "Can you feel the sunshine?" Played repeatedly. But playing like the Tails Doll could be a lot worse than you might think.
some time after the release of Sonic R, a boy was found dead by the parents in his own house, for no apparent reason. The boy was found lying on the floor, his skin completely white, lips bitten and eyes open staring at the ceiling.
When the boy was found dead, he was in front of his TV, with the Sonic R game on while the song "Can you feel the sunshine?" He kept repeating.
all had played Sonic R. Then began the speculation that the song "Can you feel the sunshine?" was the cause of everything ...
It was not long before new stories came out, new stories that involved the odd Sonic R somehow. The reports, however, were different, worse, almost unbelievable - and now add to the strange figure of Tails Dol
