DIY Science Project | Hydraulic Force Lift / Elevator

This activity allows children to learn about how a hydraulic elevator works. Any liquid can be used but water is most commonly used in hydraulic systems. A machine is usually made in a U shape with liquid in it. It works because force is used to push one side of the water down, and the only way the water can move is to push towards any other opening. This causes whatever that is on the other side to move upwards. It works vice versa as when the pressure or force is relieved from the other side, or some force pushes this side in, then it will cause the other side to rise.
