The video shows in detail the second visit to the troops during the summer trip by Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht. This takes place in the GÜZ combat training center of the army near Gardelegen. Coming from Munster, she arrives at the GÜZ with a Cougar helicopter. Then she is introduced to the "heart" of the GÜZ, the control room. All exercises in the GÜZ, but also at other combat training centers, can be monitored and controlled here. This is particularly useful for larger exercises involving several exercise centers. Vehicles and soldiers are equipped with AGDUS sensors that respond to fire. The bombardment is simulated by laser technology. The video shows the corresponding hand weapons and the uniform sensors. The minister then looks at an exercise scenario of Jäger Battalion 292 in the field - see subtitle. The exercise is then evaluated. Then the viewer is taken to the small town of Schnöggersburg. Schnöggersburg is located on the premises of the GÜZ and is one of the most modern facilities for training local combat. Schnöggersburg is also connected to the AGDUS sensor technology of the training center. Finally, the minister takes the time to talk to the troops and gives her closing statement. The Jägerbataillon 292 under the direction of its commander, Lieutenant Colonel Timo Elbertzhagen, is currently practicing in the GÜZ for the upcoming mission in Mali.
