Assalamu alaykum Erenler, and those who gave their heart to Erenler. Even those who know their place and limits. Well, the issue of knowing the limits is important. Why? It is said that "There are five pillars of Islam. But if there was a sixth pillar of Islam, it would probably be to know your limit." It is important. I don't mean there is a sixth, but if there was, it would be knowing your limits. It means that it is important enough to be the sixth after the five pillars of Islam.
Rumi says: "If there are four fingers on one hand, it is a deficiency." Because the man has four fingers when he should have five. This is a deficiency, but he says if there are six fingers on one hand, this is also a deficiency. Sometimes, what we think is an excess is actually recorded as a deficiency.
Knowing your place is important. Why don't people know their place? For example, a man is good looking. He says "I am the most beautiful." That's not knowing your place and limits. A man is rich, and says, "I am the richest." This is also not knowing your limits. However, there is always something more beautiful than every beauty. Actually, let me put it this way, some people get uglier the more they show off with their beauty. I once said: "There's nothing uglier than a beautiful who is aware of his or her beauty and lets people know that he or she is aware of this beauty." People are beautiful, but there's no need to say it and brag about it. No need. Just sit in a corner and let the people around call you "beautiful."
