Serdar Tuncer entered the lives
Serdar Tuncer entered the lives of some of us with the stories he told. He left a mark in our hearts with his unique style. He always mentioned that it is his passion to put a bug in the ears and a hint for the hearts to follow with the lessons to be drawn from the stories.
This time we hear the story of Chi Yang, who since childhood has dreamed of becoming the greatest archer in the world.
We see in Chi Yang what it means to really want something, and to work day and night to achieve it. We also see what happens when a person is totally focused on something. We see what his master advised him to do to become the best archer in the world.
Can Chi Yang become the greatest archer in the world?
Yes, he does. But with an unpredictable ending; after getting so deep into archery that he forgets what bow and arrow are.
There is a lesson to be learned from this parable, and what is it? "Without transcending materials, and without leaving the visible..."
