Crusade 71 Alex Miller Performance

This year's 71st WHAS Crusade for Children telethon was June 1st and 2nd and raised $5,700,525.71 to help children with special needs throughout Kentucky and Indiana!!  The Saturday night Crusade Variety Show featured longtime favorite performers and also focused on the amazing statewide talent that is putting Kentucky in the national spotlight on shows like America's Got Talent and American Idol.  

Alex Miller is another rising star putting Kentucky in the national spotlight for amazing talent.  He grew up in the town of Lancaster which is in Garrard County, Kentucky.  He was a contestant on American Idol in 2020 and has released 2 albums since then .  He's toured non stop and opened for Hank Jr., Josh Turner, Brooks and Dunn and Lee Bryce just to name a few.  Alex has supported and helped the Crusade in previous years by recording performances during the pandemic for us to play when we couldn't gather together in person for the annual variety show.
