The Royal Showband

In our new weekly series, historian Maxine Keoghan brings us a brief introduction to some of the icons of Waterford's history.  

Today, we take a look at the Royal Showband from Waterford who swept Ireland up in an exciting new movement of music and lively perfomance styles during the 1950s and 60s.
