Subtitles available. The Furka Mountain Line Steam Railway is a cogwheel railway that connects Realp with Oberwald and was once the route of the Glacier Express. Due to the Furka Base Tunnel, the railway line lost its importance and was closed in 1981. Railway enthusiasts rebuilt the route and has been passable again since 2010.
