Ingredients:
Chicken 1 Kg
Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Black Pepper 1 tsp
Crushed Button Red Chili 1+1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp or as per your taste
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander and cumin seeds crushed 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes 4 (small)
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Lemon Juice 1 tbsp
Chopped Ginger 1 tsp or as per your taste
Green Coriander 2 tbsp (Chopped)
Green Chilli 4 (Finely Chopped)
Fried Onion 2
Oil 1/2 Cup
Cooking Method:
Add oil to a pan. Heat the oil. Add tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes. Add ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, button red chilli (crushed) and salt. Mix it well and cook on high heat for about 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add chicken to the mixture and mix it. Add lemon juice, black pepper and mix it. Cover the pan and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Check after 5 minutes and stir it. Once 10 minutes complete add yogurt and mix it. Cook it for 10 minutes on medium heat. Add fry onion, garam masala, coriander/cumin seeds masala, chopped ginger(half), green coriander (half), green chilli half. Mix it carefully and cook it for 3 minutes on low heat. Restaurant style Chicken Karahi is ready. Dish it out and garnish with green chilli, ginger and green coriander.
Enjoy.
Served with Roti, naan or rice.
