In this video, I’m going to talk about the first sign of low vitamin D.

The first sign many people experience when they’re low on vitamin D is a low backache. This is very important to look out for. If you notice low back pain that won’t go away with any treatment, look at your vitamin D level.

How does low vitamin D cause low back pain? Well, vitamin D is vital for your immune system, blood pressure level, sleep, mood, and inflammation level.

Vitamin D acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory that also helps you get rid of pain.

If you notice achenes in your lower back at night, this could be related to vitamin D.

Try squatting down and then getting back up from a squatting position. Rate your difficulty. Next, take 40,000 IUs of vitamin D and wait an hour. Then, try squatting and getting back up again and rate your difficulty. If vitamin D is your problem, you should see a significant improvement.

If you are very deficient in vitamin D, you should see those results fairly quickly. However, sometimes it can take a day or two to really see the results. Try again after a day and rate your difficulty again.

This pain can spread to your pelvis, hips, upper legs, and upper arms as well. Low vitamin D can also cause bone pain in your ribs—especially if you lightly press on your breast bone.

Vitamin D can affect your muscle tone, as well. If you waddle back and forth, this could be a sign of low vitamin D.

You can find vitamin D in cod liver oil, fatty fish, eggs, and dairy. However, it’s almost impossible to get enough vitamin D from dietary sources. The best source of vitamin D is to get out in the sun. If you can’t get enough sunlight, take a vitamin D3 supplement with vitamin K2.
