Adobe Audition CC 2020: Loop Audio Playback
Loop playback of selections in both the Multitrack & Waveform View.

This tutorial will teach you how to loop the playback of audio (repeat over and over again) in both the Multitrack & Waveform Views of Adobe Audition.

This works great when making fine-tune edits or adding effects to a selection and you want to hear the audio repeat over and over again.

Keyboard Shortcut Used:
Time Selection Tool (T)
Loop Playback (Cmd + L)…use Ctrl + L on Windows

How to Loop Playback in Multitrack of Adobe Audition CC 2020:
1. Open Multitrack Session
2. Drag clips on tracks
3. Click on the Time Selection Tool or use the keyboard shortcut T
4. Click and drag a selection over audio you want to loop
5. Hover the cursor over the edges of selection to adjust
6. Click on ’S’ to Solo tracks and mute all others
7. Click on the Loop icon at the bottom next to the record key, or use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + L
8. Tap the spacebar to loop playback


How to Loop Playback in  the Waveform View of Adobe Audition CC 2020:
1. Open Audio File in Waveform of Adobe Audition
2. The cursor is the Time Selection Tool by default in the Waveform
3. Click and drag a selection over audio you want to loop
4. Hover the cursor over the edges of selection to adjust
5. Click on the Loop icon at the bottom next to the record key, or use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + L
6. Tap the spacebar to loop playback

How to Turn On or Off Playback of Audio While Scrubbing:
1. Go to the top menu bar and click on Audition
2. Click on ‘Preferences’
3. Click on ‘Playback & Recording’
4. Uncheck ‘Play Audio While Scrubbing’ for silence when scrubbing
5. Check ‘Play Audio While Scrubbing’ to hear audio when scrubbing
6. Click ‘OK’ to save Preferences
