A large segment of the population takes calcium supplements. But you must consider several things before you rush into taking it.

First, the calcium molecule itself is very large and cannot absorb into the bones, and can get stuck in the arteries, causing calcium plaque, which is dangerous. Even without microscopes the ancient doctors who cognized Ayurveda knew that it wouldn’t be able to absorb out of the bloodstream so they recommended incinerating the coral calcium for several weeks, burning it into an ash, until it became a very small nanoparticle, capable of absorbing into the bones.

Not only that, they recommended that it be found in nature — in shells, coral and pearls, which are alive with nature’s healing energy called prana. Most of the calcium we take is synthetic and thus is considered a dumb or dead nutrient, creating lots or potential health problems.

In order for calcium to be absorbed, you must also consider Vitamin D. Then video discusses various ways to get this Vitamin: through sun exposure, transdermal Vitamin D where it is applied to the skin for direct absorption into the bloodstream, or low-dose oral supplementation. Many doctors nowadays are recommending an extremely high dose of 50,000 units of Vitamin D to be taken once a week with no consideration for how it may upset the liver, since it has to process it when it comes in. This extremely high amount of Vitamin D would never suddenly enter the body coming in through the sunlight, which creates side effects when taken out of context with nature.

And nowadays everyone is taking their Vitamin D supplement with Vitamin K2 added into it since K2 directs the calcium into the areas where it is needed (bones and teeth) and away from areas where it is not needed and could create adverse effects (arteries, joints and brain). However, the synthetic Vitamin K2 supplement is the MK-7 type, which the body does not process correctly. The best type, found in fatty animal protein, such as in milk, butter and ghee, is the MK-4 type, which is famous for its health-giving effects. Research is discussed which demonstrates why Vitamin K2 should best be taken in the diet and not through supplementation.

Most everyone is deficient in Magnesium. And magnesium is important for many reasons, but especially because it keeps calcium in solution in the blood stream, so it doesn’t hang around and calcify the arteries or cause kidney stones. Also discussed is the transdermal use of magnesium chloride, the best form. Transdermal application is best as it absorbs better into the body than other forms.

You will quickly see how important it is to know the best type of calcium to take, along with the various forms of Vitamin D, K2 and magnesium, to insure proper digestion, absorption and utilization of the calcium. All this information is very important to learn, because if you don’t consider all these factors you could cause hardening of the arteries, organs, glands, arthritis and kidney stones as the calcium winds up in these areas.
