Easy Horizontal Bandsaw Modifications - Upgrades for Jet and Harbor Freight 4x6 & 5x6 Metal Saws

Here are seven modifications that I made to my Jet 5x6 horizontal metal cutting bandsaw that have made it much more versatile and easier to use.  There are several 4x6 bandsaws made that share very similar castings to the one in this video.  If you have a saw from Harbor Freight, Northern Tool, or Grizzly, you may be able to incorporate some of these ideas into your machine as well.

Modifications Include:
1.  Better stand with swivel casters
2.  Longer and more usable adjustable work stop
3.  Larger vice handle for quick adjustments
4.  Tool-less vice adjustment
5.  Hack for cutting short pieces
6.  More visible angle degree markings
7.  Two larger vertical position cutting tables
8.  Upgraded Lenox blade.
