*** Edited the next day (23rd of March): I can now share what pattern I was using! This is the NEW SEYCHELLES top by Itch to Stitch. It's a lovely woven top with a V neckline and 2 sleeve options. Even the most basic sewing machine has a handful of decorative stitches there. I know you look at them, but do you actually use them? Believe it or not, this is my FIRST TIME using them IN OVER 30 YEARS OF SEWING. Yup. I decided to change that and see if it's something I want to try again in the future.
I played with all the few stitches until I found one I liked and I used it to decorate the front and back facings of a woven top. In this video you will see some tips on how to use these decorative stitches discretely and how you can make a facing a focal point in your garment.
You can do this with ANY PATTERN that has a facing, round or any shape. This is the way to switch it and do it reversed, or EXPOSED. Pretty!
I have added this video to my V neckline series, because it is a V neckline and this technique has not been featured in the series yet!
