Today, you will see 2 alternative methods to finish a V neckline on a knit garment. One is for lightweight knit fabrics and the other is for medium to heavyweight knits. I have not featured these techniques on my channel before.
The Claudia dress from Sinclair patterns has these 2 options, and it’s great because we can use a huge variety of knit fabrics.
I am sharing 2 knit easy to sew dresses, one with rayon spandex with a FAUX V neckband and one in athletic knit with a facing finish. See all the sewing! Plus, how to insert the cool side panels (Godets) that this dress features.
