Debbie and Ben Sandoval are part of generations of Taos Pueblo - a Native American community that has inhabited New Mexico for over a thousand years. Together they own and operate Tiwa Kitchen, a restaurant serving indigenous cuisine with a blend of New Mexican flavors. Baratunde's baking skills are lacking, but with Debbie and Ben's help, he bakes bread in their handbuilt horno - an outdoor oven that has been part of Taos Pueblo culture for hundreds of years.
