China returns rare lunar rocks to Earth

China’s Chang’e-6 lunar probe landed in Inner Mongolia with samples from the moon’s far side.

Lunar soil was collected from the South Pole-Aitken basin, an impact crater.
Chang’e-6 was launched on May 3 from the island of Hainan.
