Wow, it's almost Dragon Boat Festival Soon (on the 14th) so as per your request, Mom has prepared these Rice Dumplings recipes - 2 versions! Complete with all the steps - cooking, wrapping and cleaning the leaves :) Come try it now!

Ingredients

Version 1: Rice Dumplings (White Rice) - from 00:31 until 02:47
White rice: 2 cups
Water: 4 cups
Pandan leaves
Salt: 1/2 tsp
Sugar: 1/2 tsp

Version 2: Glutinous Rice Dumplings (02:48 until 04:05)
Glutinous Rice: 2 cups
Pandan leaves
Dark soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Fish sauce: 1/2 tbsp
Light soy sauce: 1/2 tbsp
Oil: 3 tbsp

Meat filling:
Shallots: 10 cloves
Garlic: 10 cloves
Chicken thigh: 0.5 kg OR
Pork (with fats): 0.5 kg
Dried shrimp (fried without oil): 2.5 tbsp
Xionggu mushrooms: 2 pcs
Dark soy sauce: 2 tsbp
Light soy sauce: 2 tbsp
Sweet soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Sugar: 2 tbsp
Salt: 1/2 tbsp
Ground pepper: 1 tsp
Fried shallots
Spring onion

Others - for wrapping:
Bamboo leaves
Salted egg yolk
Raffia rope/ rope made with banana stem

Kecap ikan: 1/2 sdm
Light soy sauce: 1/2 sdm
Minyak: 3 sdm

Isi daging:
Bawang merah: 10 siung
Bawang putih: 10 siung
Daging ayam paha: 0.5 kg atau
Daging babi berlemak: 0.5 kg
Udang kering (disanggrai): 2.5 sdm
Jamur xionggu: 2 biji
Dark soy sauce: 2 sdm
Light soy sauce: 2 sdm
Kecap manis: 1 sdm
