Philips Screeneo U5 & BT TV Box - 4K UHD HDMI Input Issue

I’ve had the U5 for a few days and I’ve connected it to the UK BT TV box on HDMI 2. I usually switch off the power buttons on the extension lead after using them. But when I switch on the U5 and the TV box again, the U5 only detects the signal as HD 1080p. I have to unplug and replug the HDMI cable in the U5 to get it to recognise the 4K source and display it as UHD 2160p.

The issue occurs when it boots from cold start. If I leave both the U5 and BT TV Box in standby mode, the U5 can recognise the BT TV Box as UHD source.

Is this normal?
