Lower back pain is a ​chronic issue of our times. Tight hamstrings and Postural stress are one of the most common causes of lower back pain. A combination of stretching and strengthening yoga asanas can help in relieving lower back pain as well as preventing recurrence.

In stretching or flexion exercises, you stretch the muscles of the back, hips and legs to relieve the tension in these muscles. In extension exercises, you bend backwards to develop the muscles that support the spine.
