How to set up a Kinetic indoor bicycle trainer and mount a bike

Kinetic by Kurt is a series of premium stationary indoor bicycle trainers. This video explains how to assemble and set up a Road Machine 2.0 or Rock and Roll 2.0 bicycle trainer, and how to mount a bicycle into the unit safely. It is recommended that you should always use the Kinetic rear wheel skewer to mount your bicycle, as standard skewers are not necessarily optimized for trainer use (ie. positioned so they are cupped in place on each side). The threaded rods on either side of the trainer are tensioned against the skewer, while the tension knob on the resistance unit sets the friction level against your bicycle wheel. No tools are required for most bicycle installations, as the Kinetic series of trainers uses hand-tensioned hardware.
