SIARGAO IS HEALING. But the
SIARGAO IS HEALING.
But the recovery is slow, and I went with a team from Clean Water International Philippines who were installing water systems in three barangays there.
First, we had to get on to the island in the first place, which proved easier said than done - and it took 24 hours of standby in Surigao City's ferry port, with nowhere near enough sleep, to make it!
