Spain’s Princess Leonor to preside over the celebration of the Military Easter at the Royal Palace. King of Spain, Felipe VI along with Queen Letizia and the Princess of Asturias, Princess Leonor, will preside over the celebration of the Military Easter.
Pascua Militar is a Spanish military ceremony that takes place every January 6th in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace of Madrid. It commemorates the recapture of Menorca from the British in 1782 and marks the beginning of the military year. The King of Spain receives the highest authorities of the government and the armed forces, and gives a speech along with the Minister of Defence.
