This clock is called Simplicity,
This clock is called Simplicity, the plans designed by Clayton Boyer. I still need to add the hands and face and a couple more gears, and make a final better looking weight to run the clock. I'm making this out of Baltic Birch plywood and oak, using a scroll saw. The plastic bottle hold some lead weight which drives the clock.
This is my first wooden gear clock from plans. I did make a wooden gear clock from a kit, that has been running for over 30 years.
In this video the clock was temporarily hanging in my shop. Check out my other video, the clock is now finished.
