SWFL Eagles ~ Hatching Progress Continues! Great Closeups! Movement Seen & Chirping Heard 😲 12.30.23

This footage will cover a six hour time-frame from about 2pm to 8:30 pm with F23 on the eggs in the afternoon and M15 who came down at 6:13pm to have his evening night shift. Chirping can be heard when the eggs are in view - it is no way to determine which egg or eggs the chirping is coming from. There is movement seen in egg 2 as the shell and outer membrane continues to peel off. We have some good views of egg 1 pipping and growing larger during this time as well.

M15 will come to the nest for his usual nighttime incubation duty but F23 was feeling nippy and she beaked at M15 three times when he was trying to get in there. She ultimately relents and gets up and heads to the attic and M15 incubates the eggs. He will get up around 8:30 and roll egg 2 and we have a good view of the condition of the eggshell. This is clearly not a normal hatch - hoping for the best for this little one. Thank you for watching!
