SWFL Eagles ~ M15 Delivers Armadillo & A Fish! The E's Battle It Out With Mantles & Steals! 5.1.21

M flies into the nest with roadkill armadillo and E18 is on the attic and drops down and claims it. E17 comes flying to the nest and mantles and grabs a piece of it from underneath E18 as they both battle it out for possession of the prey! A fierce battle takes place and E18 is the winner! E17 will head to the attic while E18 tries to eat this unusual prey item. After a while, E17 drops down and goes after the prey and steals it from E18. E18 will keep an eye on it and will go back to try and reclaim it. Closeups of the foot/paw of the armadillo and its tough skin/pelt. E18 steals it back and starts working on it again. All of sudden M flies in with a fish and E18 grabs it and E17 grabs the armadillo and Dad just gets out of the way FAST! Mayhem on the nest! E18 eats the fish quickly and then goes back to claim the armadillo. They both end up tugging at it and E17 gets it. E18 heads up to the attic to rest after this epic food battle today!
