Setting up the pressure cooker in the morning is my everyday routine. The rice and dal that we eat every day begins here.
The other methods of cooking rice are the absorption and draining methods, which I use regularly.
As a non-Goan, cooking rice and dal in a cooker is normal for me and my daughters.  I met a lady in her mid-fifties who asked me how I set up the cooker.  So this video is to answer Sabrina's question
