The Swing Robert Louis Stevenson Most famous for his novels including Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Treasure Island, Stevenson was also a poet. He is probably best known for A Child’s Garden of Verses. The poem 'The Swing' is from this collection. How do you like to go up in a swing, Up in the air so blue? Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing Ever a child can do!
