Dipali Borkar of ‘Super Dancer’ fame roped in to play young Kashibai on Peshwa Bajirao

Appreciated for her exceptional dancing
Appreciated for her exceptional dancing skills, the Super Dancer contestant Dipali Borkar is all set to make her acting debut with Sony Entertainment Television’s show Peshwa Bajirao. The multi-talented kid has left no stone unturned to wow the audience and judges with her cute antics onset of the dance reality show. Dipali is known to imitate the judges, actors and enact Bollywood movie scenes with panache.
The 10-year-old will now be seen playing the role of young Kashibai in ‘Peshwa Bajirao’, a show that chronicles the life of Maratha King Peshwa Bajirao. Excited for her television debut, Dipali was brimming with confidence when we got in touch with her to know about the show and her character, “I have always wanted to become both — dancer and actor. I love being on screen.” When asked if she has seen the film ‘Bajirao Mastani’, which also featured Mastani as the main heroine Dipali adds, “I have seen the film and loved it.
