97302 with an Inspection Saloon at Tonfanau and Penhelig Stations 11/7/2023

A day out to the Cambrian Coast line to film 97302 hauling WCRC Inspection Saloon DB999506. The first clip is at a very wet Tonfanau station, it was pouring with rain when I first arrived but after waiting for about 20 minutes for it to go off, it didn't so I just had to leg it onto the platform and into the shelter. Luckily, the rain stopped within minutes of the train passing so I got quite lucky there, also lucky to get four tones due to there being some Network Rail employees working on the level crossing next to the station. Then, I headed into Aberdovey/Aberdyfi to get some breakfast and ice cream whilst the Saloon headed up to Barmouth. It looked like it hadn't been raining here as the ground was dry. Penhelig is a beautiful station, it has tunnels at both ends and the Northern end of the platform has a view of the sea. The train was silent as it approached so it caught me off guard when I heard it squealing out of the tunnel.
