A2 Biology - Evaluating diabetes treatment (OCR A Chapter 14.4)

There are two main methods of treatment for type 1 diabetes: Using genetically engineered bacteria to produce human insulin for injection, and/or using stem cells to produce healthy beta cells for patients to self-produce insulin. Here we discuss what their benefits and issues are.
