Iftar is the fast-breaking evening meal of Muslims in Ramadan at the time of adhan (call to prayer) of the Maghrib prayer. Traditionally, Muslims break the fast with a light meal such as dates and water or yoghurt. After the Maghrib prayer (this is the prayer just after sunset), they can have a full-course meal. Typically, this includes soup, appetizers, salad and the main dishes. The Al Farooq Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque or 'Blue Mosque' in Dubai has been a magnificent tourist attraction in Jumeirah since it was first established in 2011. More than 1,500 people from all walks of life come here for Iftar –  be it Muslims or non-Muslims, residents or tourists.
