Smita Patil stopped talking to director Mahesh Bhatt after release of their film Arth (1982). Smita Patil felt that Mahesh Bhatt had been partial to Shabana Azmi while making the film Arth (1982). This video tells the viewers all about the misunderstanding between Mahesh Bhatt & Smita Patil. This video also informs the viewers some finer aspects of the film Arth (1982) which was based on the infamous extra marital affair between Mahesh Bhatt & Parveen Babi. In the film Arth (1982), Smita Patil portrayed Parveen Babi's role whereas Kulbhushan Kharbanda played Mahesh Bhatt. Shabana Azmi gave a stellar performance and was awarded the Filmfare and National award for Arth (1982). The music of Arth (1982) was given by Jagjit & Chitra Singh.
