Our battery operated quartz movements are inexpensive and provide many options for your clock project. They use common batteries which last for a year or more.
These movements or motors are extremely accurate and can operate clock hands from under an inch to nearly 18” long. Many of our models are even Made in America. Imagine the possibilities!
The clock motors are small and compact. Therefore, you can use them for practically any clock project. Many models are just 2-1/8” square and 5/8” thick.

Many of our customers will use our UPS – Uninterrupted Power Source with our movements in order to keep their clock working no matter want happens to the power source. It is the best of both worlds, an accurate quartz movement and uninterrupted power source.
We also provide quartz movements with pendulums. These pendulums have an even natural swing, but actually have no effect on the timekeeping. These mini quartz pendulum motors expand your clock options.
It’s not hard to replace a clock movement. You just need to take some basic measurements of your clock case. The most important thing is to determine the length of the hand shaft needed. You can do this by measuring how thick the material is that the hand shaft has to go through.
The threaded part of the hand shaft should come through the clock dial by 1/16” to 1/8” so that a hex nut can easily be tightened to hold the movement in place. Once you know the shaft length you need for your clock, pick out the clock hands and you are on your way to creating an excellent clock.
