This is the cute Andean Bear baby, also called spectacled bear
climbing the tree in the rain. At first, the cub looks pretty unsteady walking on one of the wet thin branches and wobbles quite a bit. You think Oh my - hopefully he won't fall off that tree. As the bear tries to get off the tree on the other site, mum looks up from below. When the youngster finally finds its way down the tree, it is done just like a pro and the zoo visitors start to clap.
Born in January 2017 to mum Lima and dad Bernie. Chester Zoo has one of the largest Andean bear habitats in the world!
Spectacled bears are the only surviving species of bear native to South America.
