Hi guys, today we go around London museums again. In fact, I'm taking you with me to the Victoria and Albert Museum!

The V&A Museum is the largest museum of applied arts in the world. It is also one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. The collection is vast and the museum is a bit of a labyrinth, but the works of art to see are many and all interesting.

Where is the Victoria and Albert Museum located?
The Victoria and Albert is located a stone's throw from Hyde Park and one of the most visited destinations here in London, the Natural History Museum, in the South Kensington area. So if you want to reach it from the center either by metro or by the typical red buses it is very simple.

Which works are part of the V&A collection?
What I think is incredible about the V&A collection is the fact that you can visit it dozens of times and there will always be something new to discover. In fact, admission is free and you can decide whether to base the route by geographical areas, by periods or by type of works. It just depends on your own interests. For example, an entire wing on the ground floor is dedicated to Asia with specific rooms on Japan, China or Korea. Another is dedicated to copies of mostly Italian Renaissance sculptures.
My favorite area without a shadow of a doubt is the one dedicated to jewelry on the second floor. It is in fact one of the richest collections with 3000 pieces that tell the story of jewelry in Europe from ancient times to today with works such as Cartier's Tiara Manchester. Or the Art Deco brooch of the Janesichs, a masterpiece in the history of Italian jewelers.
Also, if you want to relax, you can sit on the lawn of the internal garden or take a look at the museum café. Often there are tourists and not only, to relax sitting on the lawn or reading a book, especially on sunny days. And finally to pass by the bookshop famous all over the world for its gadgets. For example, I always come here when I have to give a gift.
