This video was filmed between 2022/03/11.
It was the last 2 months of the East Rail Line MLR train, only 4 out of 29 sets remained when I filmed this. It was also the most serious period of Hong Kong's COVID-19 situation (5th wave), I got sick not long after I filmed this and entered an isolation facility. Then the MLR train disappeared between the end of March and early April, and some rumours about the train retiring in mid-April also appeared. The train started to appear again in mid-April, but not as active as before. Then the MLR farewell trip in May was announced by MTR. Finally, the MLR train was officially retired in 2022/05/06.
拍攝當時，MLR已剩下2個月壽命，而當時29列的MLR只剩下4列列車，當時也是香港新冠疫情最嚴重的時候（第五波疫情），我拍攝完這個幾天後就感染新冠入了隔離營。其後列車在3月尾至4月頭突然消失，期間傳出MLR會在4月中退役的消息。列車在4月中再次行駛東鐵綫，但沒有以前活躍，港鐵其後也公佈列車將會在5月退役並會舉行榮休活動。最後，MLR正式於2022年5月6日全面退役。
