COLD CREAM
cold cream is a cream that is applied to the rough skin to make it smooth and to protect the moisture of the skin. COld cream is gaining its name because after applying this cold cream it produces some cooling sensation. During winter session the cold air makes our skin dry enough to cause irritation and itching along with mild skin rupturing, to prevent this undesirable effect of winter session we apply the cold cream. the cold cream provides a film or barrier over the skin and protects its moisture, hence it maintains the normal property of elasticity of the skin. making cold cream is an easy to process in pharmacy practical point of view. the cold cream preparation contains several ingredients like- beeswax, liquid paraffin, coconut oil or almond oil, borax, Methylparaben, rose oil or other perfume. in process of cold cream production first, add given quantity of beeswax into china bowl, then add liquid paraffin or other coconut or almond oil and heat it on the water bath so that it may melt because beeswax is solid and paraffin is in liquid condition so to make them soluble we have to heat both of them. after they melt we will add borax water on that solution to move one steps further in process of cold cream making. once all these three ingredients have mixed properly now add methylparaben and dissolve them. make sure that while making cold cream and while adding all remaining ingredients the solution of beeswax and liquid paraffin must be in liquid condition. now at the last of cold cream making add rose water in few drops so as it make gain some fragrance.
This is a practical demonstration of cold cream making the procedure as per the syllabus of B.Pharmacy and D.Pharacy students. and it may or may not be suitable for another purpose. we do not advise you to make for personal application.
ठंडा क्रीम एक क्रीम है जो इसे चिकनी बनाने और त्वचा की नमी की रक्षा करने के लिए किसी न किसी त्वचा में लागू होती है। कोल्ड क्रीम इसका नाम प्राप्त कर रहा है क्योंकि इस ठंडे क्रीम को लागू करने के बाद यह कुछ ठंडा सनसनी पैदा करता है। शीतकालीन सत्र के दौरान ठंडी हवा सर्दी सत्र के इस अवांछित प्रभाव को रोकने के लिए, ठंडे क्रीम को लागू करने के लिए, हल्की त्वचा टूटने के साथ जलन और खुजली के कारण हमारी त्वचा को सूखा बनाती है। ठंडा क्रीम त्वचा पर एक फिल्म या बाधा प्रदान करता है और इसकी नमी की रक्षा करता है, इसलिए यह त्वचा की लोच की सामान्य संपत्ति को बनाए रखता है। फार्मेसी व्यावहारिक दृष्टिकोण में ठंडा क्रीम बनाना आसान है। ठंडे क्रीम की तैयारी में कई तत्व होते हैं जैसे- मधुमक्खी, तरल पैराफिन, नारियल का तेल या बादाम का तेल, बोरेक्स, मेथिलपेराबेन, गुलाब का तेल या अन्य इत्र। पहले ठंडे क्रीम उत्पादन की प्रक्रिया में, चीन के कटोरे में मधुमक्खियों की दी गई मात्रा जोड़ें, फिर तरल पैराफिन या अन्य नारियल या बादाम के तेल को जोड़ें और इसे पानी के स्नान पर गर्म करें ताकि यह पिघल जाए क्योंकि मधुमक्खी ठोस है और पैराफिन तरल स्थिति में है इसलिए उन्हें घुलनशील बनाने के लिए हमें दोनों को गर्म करना होगा। पिघलने के बाद हम ठंडे क्रीम बनाने की प्रक्रिया में एक कदम आगे बढ़ने के लिए उस समाधान पर बोरेक्स पानी जोड़ देंगे। एक बार ये सभी तीन अवयव ठीक से मिश्रित हो गए हैं, अब मेथिलपेराबेन जोड़ें और उन्हें भंग कर दें। सुनिश्चित करें कि ठंडा क्रीम बनाने और सभी शेष अवयवों को जोड़ने के दौरान मधुमक्खियों और तरल पैराफिन का समाधान तरल स्थिति में होना चाहिए। अब ठंडे क्रीम बनाने के आखिर में कुछ बूंदों में गुलाब का पानी डालते हैं ताकि इससे कुछ सुगंध प्राप्त हो सके।
