Hello and WELCOME to the very first official Follow Your Bliss video! it is my hope that you can use these videos to relax and feel less stressed, sleep better, or focus. You can even follow along with me if you wish.

Headphones are recommended.

I hope you find these videos as relaxing to watch and listen to as I do recording them. I have found such a peace already that my MPYP video series never quite gave me. I'm very excited for the future of this series and this channel.

if you're following along with the yoga part of the video, today is definitely a super restorative practice with a specific focus on my root chakra, the energy point located in the spine right between the hips. If you're following along with me, you can send energy to this part of your body and visualize a red light in your mind's eye. The root chakra houses our sense of stability and security, and the fight or flight instinct lives here as well.

If you're a fan of affirmations, root chakra affirmation examples are below. The first one is what I tend to use because it really helps my anxiety, but you do you!

- I am safe.
-  I am at home in my body.
- I am strong and centered
- ...or come up with your own!
