Because this CPEC was started in 2013 i.e. 10 years ago and till now $ 69 billion has been spent on it! And to start this project, most of the money was given by China as loan to Pakistan. CPEC project is a white elephant for Pakistan! Which is slowly swallowing the Pakistani economy.
