This is a full guide inside the in my opinion, best affordable room when going on a expedition with Hurtigruten.
I will show you everything this room has to offer including prices and other details. Watch and learn how to get your best expierence out of your journey.
On deck 7 and 8, you will find the Arctic Superior cabins with balcony. When visiting Antarctica, you SHOULD not go less than opting for a cabin with a balcony. There are so many advantages that eventually will pay itself off during your visit to the continent.
First of all, the balcony door is a big win to let some fresh air inside your cabin. But there is so much more. Your room will feel much larger, when looking out the window and seeing that you still have space outside. No claustrophobic feeling.
Rooms without a balcony have only windows that can't open. So no fresh air for you. You will also have to go outside every time you spot something from out of your window, because making pictures or video's from your window does not look good.
You have way more chance to spot wildlife from your balcony than from outside your window.
The ship has many observation decks, but sometimes it's too cold and you can't be on the observation deck the whole day. So when it's time to go back to your room, you still have the chance to have clear views from the outside.
And there is so much more pro's for opting a room with a balcony. I can't and will never choose for a room without it.
