Skip half the game glitch: Tutorial/FAQS.
Ive had a lot of YT users send me PM's asking me when Ill do up a more detailed tutorial of this skip, well here it is! Ive had complaints that my other vid doesn't show the "whole process/sequence" from grapples to chain break. So in this vid you can see me go from the swinging grapples before the judges and continue all the way to breaking the chain on first visit without any bits edited out.
Here is an FAQs section that covers the most common questions Ive had to answer over and over again, in the last month or so:
Q. How come you have the Cestus/Whip/other weapons etc. so early?
A. This is the "NG+ glitch" it gives you all weapons etc/infinite health from the start of the game.

Q. How do you do that flying thing with the boots?
A. That is the "Jet Dash" exploit that lets Kratos almost fly, here is a tutorial I did for beginners:

Q. I can't get behind the gates to the first portal, how do I do it?
A. You can just glide over (if you struggle with Jet Dash). If you do Jet Dash, I tend to aim towards that pedastal that Kratos reads on the upper level, aim just left to it (your left). You can actually Jet Dash directly to the pedastal on the upper level, if you do, the glitch will still work.
Q. Can this glitch, NG+ and Jet Dash be done with patched GoWIII version?
A. At this date (July 2010) yes.
Q. Will this glitch cause my PS3 to burst into flames/explode/be damaged beyond repair etc?
A. No. At worst, the game will freeze, the same type of freeze that normally happens during this game. Just restart, your PS3 will be just fine.
Q. Do I really need to jump over the 3rd judges head? Can't I just drop down from the horizontal climbing rope to avoid going through the second portal instead?
A. It can work, but this way is quicker in a speedrun.
Q. I can't jump over the 3rd Judge's head, how do I get up that high with the whip?
A. This is the "Severe Judgement" high jump, Press X and then INSTANTLY Press X, X,Square+L1 (wait till Kratos' hand does a little "lift" at the very end of it then flick the bow/dash).
Q. If the judges are headless will this glitch work?
A. Not at this date, the judges must be %100 COMPLETELY absent after breaking the chain. If they are just headless, you'll be disappointed when you get to the blue flame.
Q. Will this glitch work if I got the "chain-breaking cinematic" cutscene later on while Kratos is squeezing through the gap in the cave?
A. Nope. The cutscene must occur almost instantly after breaking the chain.
Q. My game crashed during the cutscene where the chain breaks, can I still do the glitch?
A. Yes, if the game crashes during the chain break cinematic cutscene. Turn off your PS3, and then load the "Auto save" that the game created. At that stage the game will place Kratos in front of the exposed chain again. Just break it again and it should work, if it crashes again, turn off and load the "Auto save" again and try again.
Q: Will I get my "Complete game" trophy with this glitch?
A: Trophies are not my department, I dont know. Try it and see.
Q. WTF! I did everything that you said "to-the-letter" and nothing happened this is all bull****!! Etc.
A. Thats more of a statement than a question... But, This glitch still has some unknown elements to it, the chain breaking cutscene wont work %100 of the time for some unknown reason (Im starting to think there might be some sort of timing element to it). But, in this vid I showed the method that works for me %99 percent of the time. Go to the EXACT places I go in this vid (and with the same "timing/pacing") and it should work.
