Yamaha WXC-50 & Bluesound Node 2i Streamer Comparison

I wonder why there aren’t more comparisons of these two direct competitors. All in all I think the Node 2i is a better product. Its software capabilities are like the next generation compared to the WXC-50. The Node 2i can even recognize Netflix so I can start and pause Netflix via my iPhone while my MacBook is playing a film connected to my beamer via hdmi and to my Node 2i via AirPlay 2. Furthermore I can continue a song my wife streamed to the Node 2i with her iPhone on mine. The WXC-50 isn‘t that „intelligent“ and not as intuitive as the Node. Soundwise the edge goes to the Node. The shielding between the DAC and the power supply seems to be better. That is important if a high power comsuming device is a part of the chain like my beamer is. That’s why I always use AirPlay 2 or a optical cable so the chain to the speakers is interrupted. Connecting everything with electrical cables makes a humming noise floor audible via the speakers. A bit less using the Node compared to the WXC.
