Algebra in perimeter. In these questions the lengths of the sides of shapes are given as algebraic expressions. Your task is to work out the value of the unknown if the perimeter of the shape is given. You can also be given two different shapes with unknown sides but with equal perimeters. Work out the value of the unknown. You must be able to solve algebraic equations with the unknown on both sides, and you need to be able to expand brackets in algebra. Similar questions were asked in the CSSE exam in 2021 and 2022.
